Sahacogen Green Company Limited
Operates a compact biomass power plant (VSPP - Very Small Power Producer) nestled within the Saha Group Industrial Park in Lamphun Province. This facility runs a combined cycle power project (Cogeneration), boasting a production capacity of 9.6 megawatts of electricity and 25 tons of steam per hour. The electricity generated is sold to the Provincial Electricity Authority as part of the VSPP initiative, while the steam is supplied to factories within the Saha Group Industrial Park, Lamphun.
Our primary focus lies in the holistic development of an integrated biomass enterprise. This involves cultivating fast-growing trees for energy, fortifying the future stability of biomass fuel sources, and ensuring sustainable biomass management. Concurrently, we're actively engaged in advancing energy production projects derived from biomass. Commercial operations commenced in March 2011.

It's a partnership with the Siam Cement Paper Business Group, operating a compact biomass power plant (VSPP - Very Small Power Producer). The plant executes a biomass power project, generating electricity using leftover eucalyptus tree bark and ends from the pulp production process, along with local agricultural waste. Situated in Phran Kratai District, Kamphaeng Phet Province, this facility has an electrical production capacity of 7.5 megawatts, supplying power to the Provincial Electricity Authority as part of the Very Small Power Producer (VSPP) initiative. Commercial operations commenced in December 2012.
